100% insulation FIBRE
Because the production of Nanoks sleeping bags and insulated clothing is integrated with the production of the fibre filling, Nanok does not have to use glue or binder fibres to create durable mats with an excellent performance. Nanoks mats therefore consist of 100% heat retaining fibres. Most competitors use up to 23% glue or binder fibre, this means that an 80gr/ m2 of Nanok mat insulates about as well as about 100gr/m2 mat from other companies. Another benefit of this process is that Nanoks mats can be washed at 60°C without loosing performance. Because of our unique production techniques, Nanok can also blend fibres with different and finer thicknesses and properties and can therefore produce mats with more layers than our competitors. A 100gr/ m2 mat from Nanok has 10 -11 layers, where normally only 3-4 layers are used to get the same thickness.

3-D Sleeping Bags
Compared to other synthetic sleeping bags, Nanoks Performance bags are not only produced mummy shaped in plan but we have also introduced a 3D construction with side walls to give the bags a true three dimensional shape, just like humans.

Zipper Up
The Zipperʼs on Nanok bagʼs are positioned higher up the sideʼs than a conventional sleeping bag, This reduces heat loss and the zipper is more accessible for opening and closing.

The Outside/Inside
The outer layer of a Nanok bag is bigger than the inner layer meaning that the insulation is not compressed when you move inside the bag.
